R.I.P to one of HipHop’s Best lyricist! We will miss you.
News broke today (June 20) that Queens rapper Prodigy has passed away at age 42.
Born Albert Johnson in Hempstead, Long Island, Prodigy formed the duo Mobb Deep with rapper/producer Havoc in 1992 out of the Queensbridge Projects. Together, Havoc and P bolstered the game with imaginative lyricism and hardcore, gritty delivery. For his entire career, Prodigy was known as a voice of the East Coast while Havoc helped create the signature sound of New York in the 1990s.

In the past few years we have had a number of wrongful death cases. There is so much violence and crime that seems to never end. We as a nation need to stop the violence and love one another. We need to find a way to end racism and hate. We must build a stronger relationship with our neighbors and even family members. Life is short and we should cherish it and live it to the fullest.
I challenge YOU to do something positive each day for some one else. Lets work to be better people and teach our young to be even better than we are!
